FAQs

How does telehealth counseling work?

The therapist will contact you regarding an upcoming appointment with initial paperwork being emailed prior to the first session. Once the initial paperwork is completed and insurance or private pay information is entered the therapist will email you reminder links via your phone number as well as in emails prior to each session. Once clicking on the link your in session and face to face with your counselor.

Do you accept insurance?

The Mindfulness Project Mental Health Counseling currently accepts United Health Care and Optum insurance plans. If you do not have these insurance plans, not to worry, each session is on a sliding scale fee ranging between $83 and $165 to be further discussed between the client and the therapist during the first initial appointment.

What are your hours?

We currently book clinical sessions with new clients Mondays from 8:00am to 10:00am and Tuesday through Thursday 5:30pm to 7:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am to 1:00pm.
